Euromotel Croce Bianca - Verona, Italy 

We booked this hotel as we wanted an inexpensive hotel near the centre of Verona with parking and air con around late September and this one was recommended by Tripadvisor. The rooms are okay and the bathroom is adequate although the shower cubicle is so small you can hardly fit into it let alone turn around. I found the rooms to be quite depressing actually and was a little disappointed but I can see why this hotel is highly rated which is due to the service. The man on the front desk was the most helpful person I have ever come across and really helped make our stay enjoyable in Verona. It is a shame that not all hotels provide this level of service as we were shown all the best ways of getting into the centre of Verona, the best value for sightseeing and the best restaurants in the area etc. The hotel provides a buffet continental breakfast but the breakfast food in Italy is not very good and I couldn’t enjoy either the food or drink. On our last night we went to a restaurant across the road called Natura si. It does not look like anything from the outside but we were tired and just wanted to eat without traveling far. It turned out to be an amazing place and one of our best meals in italy. It is so popular that you really need to get there by 7:30 and it is a buffet “all you can eat” full of organic, fresh food that is really the most tasty and imaginative food ever. We would really recommend this restaurant if you are staying in the area.

Un hotel muy bien situado en la carretera principal al Lago de Garda, así que es perfecto para coger el autobús a Simineoni y el precio de los taxis no es muy alto en Verona. Habiendo dicho eso, no había ruido de tráfico y tuvimos una vista de la montaña. No tuvimos ningún problema con los muebles, todo nos pareció muy bien. El desayuno es bueno, café excelente. Los dueños son muy amigables y serviciales, hablan muy bien el inglés. John y Anne.
