This little hotel is located in Charlottenburg, just a 2-minute walk from the S-Bahn which was incredibly convenient. The neighborhood is perhaps just a touch sketchy but even as a single woman traveling alone I wasn't really concerned, and all rooms are well off the street (no noise). The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable and I paid only 36 euro/night for a twin room with private bath. Breakfast was quite good and service was excellent. They may ask you for full payment up front, but I paid just one night and the balance the next day.

For young people that don't want to spend too much money it might be ok, though I think youth hostels are better. It was an old pension and the room had no bath. It was cold and even the parking was charged.
Not againg.
