Hotel Stadt Cuxhaven - Cuxhaven, Germany 

This Hotel is centrally located in the town of Cuxhaven , only a short drive from the Harbour where DFDS Ferries service from Harwich arrives. It is a great base for a driving holiday or as a last night before getting the ferry home. The Hotel is a 3 Star with good size clean rooms . They are ensuite with a shower, toilet etc and are serviced with good towels and soaps. The beds are comfortable and clean and the rooms have a table chair, wardrobe , bedside table and colour tv with full cable channels including CNN and BBC world for english speakers. Breakfast is a buffet style with Hot eggs bacon and sausage, cold meats , fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, juices, coffee, teas and breads both German and other continental styles, jams and cheeses. You will not go hungry..... The Hotel also has a Mexican restaurant with good quality food at affordable orices. The reception is clean and the staff are very helpful. I can highly recommend this as a place to stay price around £45-60 per room per night. Great value too

Das Hotel ist zentral in der Cuxhavener Innenstadt gelegen, nur eine kurze Fahrt vom Anlegeplatz des DFDS Ferries Service aus Harwich entfernt. Es ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für einen Rundurlaub mit Auto oder eine Alternative zum Übernachten, bevor es wieder nach Hause geht. Das Hotel hat 3 Sterne mit recht großen und sauberen Zimmern. Sie haben ein Bad mit Dusche, Toilette etc. und werden gut mit Handtüchern und Seife versorgt. Die Betten sind bequem und sauber und alle Zimmer haben einen Stuhl, Kleiderschrank, Nachttisch und Farbfernseher mit allen Kabelkanälen wie auch CNN und BBC World für die englischsprachigen Gäste. Das Frühstück wird im Buffetstil gereicht und bietet warme Eier, Speck und Würstchen, Aufschnitt, frische Früchte, Yoghurt, Cerialien, Säfte und Kaffee, Brote nach deutscher und kontinentaler Art gebacken, Marmeladen und Käse. Sie werden hier sicher nicht verhungern. Das Hotel hat ein mexikanisches Restaurant mit gutem Essen zu günstigen Preisen. Die Rezeption ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Übernachtung kostet zwischen 45 und 60 Pfund die Nacht. Wirklich ein toller Tipp.
