located in the triangle of dresden airport, siemens-infineon & amd i found the point hotel to be a very convenient place to stay in & do my business- which is mainly software. although the heart of the old town is very nearby this classic garni offers you all the amenities of a first-class hotel. very silent, a bus & a tram stop is very nearby & you can reach the autobahn within couple of minutes. the owners are very accomodating, so you get nice personalised service. the deal i got was 35,00 euro which is about 32,50 bucks: but everything right from a great break-fast to the vat was included. last but not least: they talk to u not only in english but also arrange a variety of diffent travel services. so folks: a place to go really have a feel of east german professional hotel scene!
