Appartement Hotel Seespitz - Fussen, Germany 

If you are looking for an apartment for a family of four - this is PERFECT! I stayed with my parents and family and truly enjoyed everything about the Seespitz - the great view (I was afraid the photos on the site might be rigged but no, they are real), great service (very polite and helpful), easy access to food (there is a small but very comfortable restaurant on the grounds serving Italian food), nearby grocery store with everything you will need to prepare a breakfast in the well-stocked (with utensils) kitchen and fairly easy access to Neuschwanstein. The last part may be the only inconvenience - not a terrible one still as the castle is about 5 Km away. Great area to walk around and did I mention the splendid view of the Alps from the apartment? Would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is after a 3+ hour drive from Salzburg Austria; all was forgotten the moment the door was opened to our room. The view was amazing. The best view on our Europe vacation. The apartment was great. It had two bedrooms, kitchen, and eating area. The balcony was great. I could have sat on the balcony all day. In fact my 2 teenage daughters went a sat in the lounge chairs and read while we enjoyed some early evening sightseeing. The pool and restaurant were also great. There is a small Italian restaurant at the hotel. We had the best bruschetta on our entire trip there. Our teenagers enjoyed the pizza so much they went back for more just before the restaurant closed. The front desk help was great. They helped you with a smile. There is also internet excess with printing in the hall of one of the buildings. Breakfast was nice and served with a smile. Although not in the city of Fussen, it was only a 10 minute drive to the castles, I prefer the quite beauty of this location. I would have loved to stay longer. I hope to return to this wonderful hotel.
