We loved our stay at the Hotel Bavaria. We arrived early and the staff was very accommodating to get us into our room right away. The place is charming, complete with Bavarian style furniture and bedding. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the gardens of the hotel, so peaceful and yet so close to the train station and within walking distance of the Kurpark and shopping. All the beauty of the Alps with the technology of the 21st century- free wireless internet access in the lounge! We took half pension- very reasonably priced and an excellent three-course dinner. The breakfast buffet was plentiful as well. We awoke to a fresh Spring snowfall, picturebook perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bavaria. Everyone there was so very kind to us, even though we spoke english. We loved our room and our exceptional view from the balcony. Our dining experience definitely rated 4-stars... the cuisine was delicious. And, we appreciated all the help from the staff at the front desk, as well. The close proximity to the train station was very convenient. I would highly recommend the Hotel Bavaria to anyone staying in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and hope to come back for a visit again myself someday. The Hotel Bavaria definitely contributed to a very memorable "trip of a lifetime"!
