Spartan, old room with no ammenities. Basically clean. Had to leave because of the overwhelming smell of smoke. I was given a room on a non- smoking floor but the entire place was like one big ashtray. Unfortunate.

Here it is, short and to the point: Hotel Brack was a real find; it is in a superb location, with the U (underground) just outside the front door. A fare of one or two euro takes you directly into the beautiful old centre of Munich close to the Hofbr?uhaus. Also, the Beer Festival takes place only a few hundred metres away from the hotel. The staff are extraodinarly friendly and the breakfast super. "I'll be back".
