The location is great, within walking distance to the train station as well as the pedestrian shopping area of Marianplatz. The rooms are very nice and spacious for the price. The issue we had was that it ended up being a mixed dorm instead of a female room as we requested. I was travelling with my 2 teenage daughters and had reserved 3 beds in a 4-6 bed female dorm room. All went well until a man showed up in our room around midnight and took the bunk above me. I brought my email confirmation to the front desk at once which showed they confirmed 3 females. The desk clerk stated they only have co-ed rooms and couldn't provide a logical explanation why they specified on the confirmation that it was for 3 females. I was very disappointed in the manner in which it was handled and felt unsafe with the sleeping arrangement.. So I would recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't mind co-ed sleeping, but it's not for me.
