Best Western Hotel Cristal - Munich, Germany 

I stayed for 2 nights in late June. Hotel is centrally located very close (one block) from Banhoff (main train station), from where trains and subway depart everywhere, including airport which is 40 km away. Neighborhood is not very good but totally safe day and night. Munich is a very safe city. Rooms are big enough for european standards, those facing the street are very noisy due to traffic, ones facing the back are less noisy, but not quiet at all. Rooms are clean but overall maintenance is just adequate. My room was in a non smoking floor, and there was no smoke odor at all, very good for european standards where regardless of non smoking floors there is moke odor everywhere. No A/C in rooms neither in lobby or reataurant. Rooms have small fan, that is useless in hot summer days in Munich. Breakfast is included in price and very good, up to european standards for this kind of hotel. Receptionists are rather rude, and as well as housekeeping staff try to kick out guests before 11 AM on check out day nevetheless check out time in web page of hotel is suposed to be at 12 noon. Seems to be an hotel for tourists mainly, not business oriented.

Stayed here for 2 nights and everything was excellent. A very large quiet room with every facility, including, free bottle drinks and when asked for tea/coffee maker it was delivered straight away. The reception staff and any member of staff you came across were super nothing was to much trouble, they were always polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good, everything you wanted. The location was very good everywhere was in walking distance and a taxi rank just along the road. This is the third Best Western I have stayed in in the past 6 months and would use them again.
