Location
Our hotel lies on the way to the picturesque village of Ramsau. Our local mountain the “Watzmann” is shrouded in legend and looms over the valley. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails throughout the whole area, which will make your vacation a real adventure. At the Königssee, the most beautiful lake of Germany, you can relax and enjoy the splendour of nature.You will also find relaxation at the “Watzmanntherme” a spa in the local area, or at the “Salzstollen” an old salt mining tunnel where you can meditate to Tibetan sounds.
The city of Salzburg in Austria is in the immediate vicinity and is a perfect destination for a one day trip.

Gorgeous! Classic Bavarian guest house and restaurant. Food, service, rooms, view, all far exceeded expectations. Very cozy, almost a country cabin type feel. The most peaceful and pleasant overnight stay I have ever had.
-Some rooms include a bath, some only on the hall. I'd recommend a room with a bath, although if on a budget, the hall baths are nice and clean.
-Room contained: double bed (German style- see photos), sofa, table w/ 2 chairs, balcony with small table and two chairs with an incredible view, to end tables, long mirror and wardrobe.
-Bath contained: toliet, sink, towel racks, and shower (no bathtub)
Note: Like most of Bavaria, this place is easiest to reach by car.
