My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3-nights recently. We looked at the reviews on Tripadvisor, and were walk-in customers. They gave us an excellent rate of EUR 109 including breakfast. It was by far the best hotel deal we got anywhere in Europe this year. The hotel is majestic, has just been completely renovated, and the rooms are totally state of the art. The grand exterior and corridors blend in well with the modernity of the rooms and elevators. The breakfast room is amazing - straight out of an European palace, and the breakfast itself is very good. The staff are very firndly, speak English, and are very helpful. The location of the hotel on Maximillianstrasse, is very good. You can walk into the old town, all attractions, all shopping and the Danube banks between 2-10 minutes, depending on where you want to go. You can also use the hotel as a base for driving into the small villages in the beautiful countryside along the banks of the Danube. We recommend Kallmunz - recommended to us by the hotel receptionist.
