We are a Swedish couple that stayed at Seehotel Frankenhorst 17/7--20/7. When we booked the stay we looked for a "get away" experience, i.e. a relaxing holiday. And guess if we got it! We got a room with a balcony fronting the sea in the building "Haus am see", there are a few buildings at the premises. Living room + bedroom + a large bathroom with a large bathtub. Everything was in perfect condition and spotless clean and the view was astonishing. After 22:00 everything was so silent that we could sleep with opened windows without being disturbed. We used the restaurant every day. It was also perfect. The staffs were always friendly. The food was excellent and cooked with very good and fresh ingredients. There is also a lot to see in the surroundings. The city of Schwerin with its old buildings, the several seas in the area. We recommend hiring a bicycle to be able to use the several biking trails in the area. BUT if you are couples that look for a party holiday don't go to this hotel. You will get very disappointed.
