Before I booked I read some mixed reviews about the cleanliness of the hotel, but I found nothing wrong with that. It's a good clean hotel with all the facilities you expect from a small hotel. My room, a single room at the top floor, was small in size but had everything I needed, including a shower. The breakfast was good and tasty. Staff was friendly, although not more than that; a smile would have been a nice add-on. Room cleaning was done very early, as soon as I was having breakfast, which meant that they were still busy with my bed when I returned. That's why I used my 'Do not disturb' sign the next morning when I went to the breakfast room.
Parking is free, however they only have a few spaces and you can get blocked off by another guest. You can also park your car in the streets next to the hotel, it's free parking.
The location is good in a quiet neighbourhood, a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 10-minute walk to the town centre, with shops and restaurants.

I found the Lerryn by accident. We had to go to Falmouth on a certain day at short notice and this hotel just happened to look OK on screen. Well, the hotel is great. You can eat in the restaurant, but you have to book in advance, but as the town is only 7-10 mins away (with my walking) - which has many many restaurants, this wasn't a problem. This hotel has always been non smoking (which is rigourously enforced) - and is cleaner and fresher than I have ever seen (and smelt) with the bed reminding me of the comfort of my grandmothers - lovely. In the room was a hairdryer that you could actually plug in rather than the slow speed ones in top drawers with facilitiesfor refreshments and a kettle that actually boiled the water. There is also really good wheelchair access on the ground floor. There were a group of us meeting in Falmouth, and everyone managed to get booked into the hotel. All of them said they would use it again when in Falmouth, including me.
