Positives: The best location in Copenhagen, just one short block from both Tivoli Gardens and the pedestrian shopping mall. It's also across the street from the main square and less than 2 blocks from the central train station. Clean modern design carried throughout the hotel, and everyone speaks very good English. Minuses: We had to wait until 2 p.m. to check in, and there's no separate room to store your luggage if you want to go explore the city while you're waiting to check in. Instead, the staff chains your luggage up to everyone else's in the middle of the lobby and gives you a claim check, but I think anyone could unzip/steal items out of your bag quite easily if they wanted to, because they're all just sitting there for anyone to access. It's also rather expensive for what you get, but then so is EVERYTHING else in Copenhagen. Our "superior" class room was small by most American standards - think of a typical hotel room in Manhattan and you'll get the idea. In our room, the carpet and the upholstery on the loveseat were both stained, and there were many scuff marks on the walls - needs to be repainted/refurbished. Summary: Would stay there again just because of the location, but only for a night or two due to the small room size.

We chose this hotel primarily for its location, nice and central and also walking distance from the train. It paid off handsomely in this regard, convenient for shopping, bars and the sites. We got upgraded to a large side-facing room on the sixth floor. It was big, comfortable and quiet and we settled in very nicely. Service was polite and efficient, nothing to complain about at all. If I came back to Copenhagen I'd stay here again.
