Our one-night stay (Saturday) was wonderful.
Access to the Pousada is well indicated by road signs and was very easy. You take the ring road around until you see the pousada sign then 2 quick turns and you are at the pousada. It helps to look at the picture of the place beforehand since the entrance is to the left of the building as you approach it.
Reception was efficient with excellent English speaking staff. We left our car keys since we had a tight (illegal for me) spot at the entrance to the hotel).
Our bags were carried up the staircase by reception and porter. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking the pool.
Room was small as expected and clean. The air conditioned worked well and was controlled by a remote. Shocking for me was the furniture which was all modern and white.
The only downside of the room was the clawfoot bathrub which rocked when you stood to take a shower.
We had dinner which was served in the cloister. Our wait staff were quick and efficient and spoke excellent English. When we asked for an ice bucket for our red wine (just a tad too warm) they provided it without question (contray to arguments received in France). We chose the starter sampler (choice of 4) and were very happy with the chance to sample the different dishes. Main course was very good and dessert was unlimited from a buffet.
Breakfast was a buffet which provided a lovely choice of hot and cold items. Service for coffee was quick and staff were perfect.
Be warned that shops close in Evora at 1pm on Saturday.

I have went to Pousada dos Loios in Evora because I was looking for a quiet and charming place to relax for a few days, and that was exactly what I have found!
The Pousada is an antique monastery, located near the "Templo de Diana" - a monument from the roman age.
Right next to it there is the imponent "Se Cathedral", which is also amazing and worth seeing.
Besides this great surrounding, the Pousada offers a great service and the staff is very courteous and helpfull. For me it was more than 5 stars experience.
