Golf Beach - Santa Ponsa, Spain 

Booked this hotel after much reviewing on Tripadvisor and other sites on the net. It was certainly a good choice! The hotel in itself is not much to brag about. It is defineatly two star as every singe amenity cost extra. There's no air conditioning (big minus really), no tv, no safe deposit box included etc. Everything had to be rented for a week at a time. Having said this, I haven't felt this good about a sun-holiday hotel ever. The staff were probably the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever come across!! E.g. my girlfriend had a medical issue and the staff did everything and more to help us get proper treatment. Even kept in contact with us as we were at the hosipital just in case the staff there didn't understand us. Apart from that. Prices in the bar are good, the hotel is very clean, the pool area is quiet and really perfectly suited for anyone who might want to go partying a bit at night time, but have a relaxing time in the daytime. But as I was writing above, they really should consider installing air con in the rooms. Or at least put proper fans in every room and not rent them out for 18? per week which is a slight rip-off in my opinion. This is the only thing that pulls the rating down on my behalf from 5 to 4. All in all, highly recommended hotel in Santa Ponca. Or actually as it's so easy to get to the party areas in Palma Nova, Magaluf and also the party street in west Santa Ponca, I can recommend this hotel for any purpose you might have for going to Mallorca. Including if you go there to play golf as golf courses are lined up around the area!

We have just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the golf beach, we cannot fault the hotel, apart from the lack of air con! We knew before we went to the hotel that there were ceiling fans in the rooms but beleive me, they do not do the trick! We hired a fan to try and cool the room but I still spent 2 of the 7 nights sleeping on the balcony to try and get some air! For the price we paid for the week I really do not like to complain but honestly the heat really was a problem for us. Dont be put off , it's a lovely hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to reccommend it, the only problem for us were the hot, hot, hot rooms...
