Hotel Leonardo - Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic 

My wife and I stayed here for one night. The location is very central, just off the main square in Cesky Krumlov. There was a fair bit of noise from the pedestrianised street below.This was not a problem with the windows closed but if the weather had been hotter it could have been an issue. The staff on the check-in desk spoke English and check-in/check-out was hassle free. Our room was absolutely superb and huge as well with a six-seater dining table in one corner! There are a lot of period features, beams, creaky floorboards etc and the hotel has a lot of charm. The bed was more comfortable than most and had a double mattress instead of two singles next to each other, which is quite common in these parts, The breakfast was adequate but lacking any cooked items, but this is only a small hotel. The biggest issue during our stay, outside the hotel's control, was the construction work going on in the ajoining building. This is being completely gutted resuting in some very penetrating drilling sounds from about 0730 onwards. You may want to check the status of this work before booking. All in all a great hotel and would definately stay here again.
