Hotel Pav details: The Hotel Páv dates back to the year 1806, when it was called “U tri kosu”- “The house of the three Blackbirds” according to the sign above the main entry. The property was built in the early classicism style, which was heavily influenced by the art of ancient Greece and Rome. The building has been fully renovated in 2006 as an exquisite and a modern hotel of 82 comfortable, at the same time, fully respecting it's early classicism origins located close to the heart of Prague.

We stayed at the hotel PAV June 2008. All the reports I had previuosly read were correct. Don't go expecting something fantastic, but if you want good clean value for money accomodation, you'd be hard pushed to beat the PAV. The location is great, far enough out to avoid the rowdy crowds at night, but with easy access to all the main sights. Yes the staff can be a bit off, but how often do you want to interact. There is no 'full english' breakfast, but there was plenty of choice. The hotel is bright, clean and airy. Go to the PAV if you like good clean mid range hotels, don't go if you want top range service and products.
