The Eurostars David is truly a gem among small boutique hotels. The hotel is located away from the tourist throngs on a quiet side street, yet only a 10 to 25 minutes walk to the major tourist areas. The hotel's decor is contemporary without being outlandish. The bathrooms are beautifully arranged with heated marble tile floors and upscale fixtures, including heated towel rack. The pictures of the hotel in its website are very accurate. Also the building itself is very elegant in a neo-renaissance design from the late 19th century. Breakfast buffet is included in the rates and is comprised of breads, cereals, cheese, cold meats, eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, coffee, etc. There is plenty for everyone to choose. The breakfast room can get somewhat congested toward the later breakfast hours, however. There is also a computer terminal in the lobby that guests can use for free to access the internet. My only complaint has to do with the small size of the rooms. The double rooms are comfortable enough for one person, but two persons might bump into each other every once in a while. But since you are not in Prague to stay in your hotel room, that shouldn't matter. I heard no noise through the double pane windows during my stay. The David is a solid 4-star hotel that should exceed most expectations. Great for a romantic getaway.

Just back from Prague where we stayed in Eurostars David. Loved the hotel. Ideal location, just 10 mins walk to Charles Bridge, Old Town and also Wensleslas Sq. Its very central so no need to use public transport during the stay. there is a lovely restaurant located on the corner opposite the hotel called Bonaccia and its highly recommended. Extremely reasonable. 400czk for 2 14" pizza, chips and 4 Pilsner beer. Lovely selection for breakfast in the hotel and the rooms are decorated to the highest standard. Wooden floors, flat screen TV, fabulous shower/bath. Only grievance I had was that we ordered 2 glasses of Chardonnay in the lobby and were charged 550czk, which is almost ?20. But then again I should have checked before I ordered so can't really blame them!!! Would definitely stay there again on a return visit to Praha.
