Small family hotel in Ziskov district, about 10 minutes walk from the Prague Central railway station.
Rooms are adequately furnished and large enough by any standard, however bathrooms / showers tend to be on the small side.
The rooms are clean and warm with some excellent touches in the detail. The TV is limited to broadcast Czech TV channels (not even CNN!).
Central Prague can be reached in 10 minutes by No 9 tram, or on foot - as an averagely-fit 48 year old, I could walk to Old Town / Charles Bridge in about 20 minutes.
There are a wide range of bars and restaurants in the area around the hotel, which provides only cold buffet breakfasts, some of these are open on a 24 hour basis.
The hotel is also handy for a number of small, discrete, "night-clubs", if that is your fancy, but avoid "Amsterdam Club" a noted clip-joint. (they tried to get 350 Kr out of me for a single can of beer - usual price 28!) Pink Dolly is much more reasonable.
Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, and are prepared to be flexible over (e.g.) check-out times.
