When I read the reviews about this hotel, I freaked out! I thought it was going to be awful ... actually, it wasn't that bad.
We found the hotel after asking a man in the street (Czech people are always happy to help you). We did have to climb the notorious 69 steps before reaching the hotel (it is not that hard even when you are not sporty - trust me!).
I got so scared when I read the reviews that I decided to email the hotel with my concerns. I got a nice email back and when we arrived at the hotel, we had been given a lovely room on the other side of the train station!
The bed cover had an old chewing gum stuck on it (I think they had tried to get rid of it but in vain) but apart from that the room was clean (especially the bathroom - which is always a good sign).
The breakfast was really nice: eggs, sausages, different kinds of breads etc ... I would not recommend the orange juice though (unless you like anything which tastes chemical). We didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel.
Overall, I would say that we had a nice stay. The staff were very helpful.

Spent 5 nights here with my girlfriend, and it has to be said that the sparkling exterior belies the shodiness beneath. The "Double" bed was 2 singles joined by blankets with 2 single duvets..mmmm...we only really heard the trains when they blasted their horns!! The lack of tea/coffee making facilities is another minus point, and as for breakfast,well...it's cold, shrivelled poached eggs, hot dogs(cold).or dried up sausage...also cold...you might also need to clear a table to sit down as well..very poor fayre indeed....then there's the Lobby Bar,hailed as serving "Mexican Cuisine"....oh dear...it was 5 types of Tesco frozen pizza...Pizza Mexicano the obvious winner. Still it was cheap, booked thru easyjet holidays. We also had kids running amok thru the corridors till 4am....i would not recommend this hotel at all.
