My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two of the six nights we spent in the Czech Rrepublic. We booked via Travelocity at a rate of around £65 per night for the room plus breakfast. On the positive side, the hotel is clean and modern and the rooms have just been refurbished. On the not so positive side, I think a sizeable percentage of the rooms are what I would consider 'undersized'. Indeed the bed in the first room we had would have been far too small for us to both fit in (BTW - we are both slim). I was able to swop for another room which had a bigger bed, but there was very little space left to navigate your way around the furniture. In terms of location - the marketing material states the hotel is 10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. We are keen walkers but would defy anyone to do that journey in less than 20-25 minutes. Not the end of the world but if you want to be a bit more central you should bear this in mind. The breakfast was pretty good with a fair selection of cold meats, cheeses and good scrambled eggs. The hotel was extremely busy and as a result of this many people had to wait for a table. I found the hotel very noisy. I think there is a general lack of sound proofing in place. The price I paid made the hotel good value but I much preferred the Hotel Amarilis where we stayed at the beginning of our trip. Another recently refurbished four star hotel which really is five minutes walk from Wencelas Square. The rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. The bathroom immaculate and the staff friendly. Price-wise it's much the same. Bookings are via Jerome travel [--]
