Just came back from our europe trip and had a 2 night stay in this hotel with my husband. We really enjoy the time spent in prague. To sum up, this hotel is very clean, convenient (10mins walk from the namesti miru metro station), served good breakfast, very reasonable priced and has friendly & helpful hotel staff.

We stayed at The Hotel Claris March 2008. It was a clean, modern hotel with a very convenient location. The front desk was very helpful, especially Jerry the over night desk clerk. The Claris is a 5 minute walk from the Namest Miru station and is a 30 second walk from the tram. The hotel is across the street from a mall with a big supermarket (basement level) and a nice wine shop. There is a great inexpensive Chinese resaurant on the same block and a great Czech bar/restaurant around the corner (on the way to the subway). The hotel's location was great considering the reasonable price. The area is nice, it didn't seem dangerous at all. It isn't in the city center however you get a better feel for how the Czech live. I would reccomend this hotel as long as you're not looking to be in the city center (its 10 mins away by subway).
