I've traveled to Prague with my girlfriend this month. We booked this hotel through our traveling agent because it was very close to the Tram station (only to cross the road) and because the alternative that she offered to us was the Opatov Hotel that we didn't like.
The hotel itself looked o.k. from the outside and the lobby was fine too. We also liked the room from pictures that we saw on the web.
We received poor service from the reception desk and had to move a room after two nights (we stayed for 4 nights at the hotel) because we didn't have any hot water. The beds were not comfortable but they seemed clean.
The walls and the ceiling had big cracks on them. The first room had a small refrigerator in it but neither of them had any vaults.
The hotel itself was quiet enough but in the second room we had a door in the middle of the wall that led to the room that was near us. Let's just say that we didn't sleep well on the other two nights of our stay.
The breakfast was o.k. You can also buy some souvenirs (and transport tickets) at the souvenir shop in the lobby. They have one internet computer near the reception desk that you can use (nothing is free in Prague) and a bar at the lobby.
There are some grocery stores near the hotel (in case you are hungry and don't want to spend your money on restaurants). It has a luggage room in case you need to leave your luggage in the hotel before you live Prague (it's free :) ).
I won't return there again but if you are looking for a cheap hotel to spend some nights in it, it should do the job.

I travelled to Prague as part of a school trip with 40 students, being me the ultimate responsible for all of them.
At The very beginning I was a bit worried since our students were really eager to find other school trip mates, and they really did, there were plenty of other teenagers wandering up and down the corridors. There were no problems at all in the end, but I found the caution rules and the money we left as a deposit a bit exagerated, the doc I signed and my travel agent said 10 ? per student and they charged 20 per person. Altough I have to say there was no problem to get it back.
Very well placed for public transport tram and tube but allow 20 minutes to the city center.
Tram n? 11 and number 55 and 51 at night.
People at reception were not extremely friendly but correct.
