The Ventana Bar is situated in a 5 storey atrium with an artistic interior design and polished teak wood floor, with a glass strip running down its length to provide the lobby with natural light. Just come back from spending 3 nights at this hotel .. what a great place. When we arrived I saw they proudly displayed a plaque saying that they won a Trip Advisor Award for 2008 .. justly deserved.
The best thing of all about this hotel is the location .. just beside the Old Town Square, but not on the square itself. That meant it's great for all the major sights of the old town, but not situated (as many hotels are) above a bar or restaurant.
The decor and furnishings inside the hotel are great - it's extremely smart and stylish.
We got to the hotel by 119 bus from the airport and then metro. Totally straightforward - and cost 26Krona each (about ?1). That's far cheaper than taxi or hotel limo (which they were charging at 35 Euros)
Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful.
Having spent 3 days in the city I can say that this is certainly the best location for a hotel in the whole city .. and it's also a great hotel
