Just recently returned from 2 night break to Prague with my girlfriend the hotel is situated on 2 sides of a cobbled street.I think that the if you stay on the side of reception and in a superior room then you may be ok, we stayed on the other side of the street. When we arrived we were given a twin room despite having booked a double, they ended up pushing the beds together for us. At first you think it's quiet but even at night when sleeping the sound of tyres over them is not great, also there is a main road just to the side of the hotel which is very busy and noisy at night. Also just next to our section of the hotel is a bar that played live music, fortunately only until 11pm but if u wanted an early night...forget it. We had to have the window open because it was so warm and there is no AC, no minibar either so the water we drank was always warm, there are no coffee and tea making facilities either. The shower head was not particularly clean in the bathroom, but the rest of the room was ok. I love Prague and we didn't spend much time in the room but if i were to be staying longer i would not choose this hotel and personally i won't be again. It looks nice on the website but it's nothing like it i would say it's more of a 2 star than a 3 star. The rooms lack many things i.e safe, minibar etc, it's noisy and also quite far from the centre of the town. The area of prague seems quite run down, quite a few sex shops and gambling places, not particularly safe for 2 girls at night. The breakfast was average, cold and cooked stuff served, but often the eggs were cold. All in all it didn't spoil my stay but next time i will pay the money and stay nearer the centre. On a previous stay i stayed at Hotel Tosca which i would recommend.
