Archibald At Charles Bridge - Prague, Czech Republic 

This hotel was in a perfect location for a short weekend trip to Prague. The sights we planned to visit were all within walking distance. Also, the hotel is not far from public transportation, which made the transfer from the airport easy. The room was quite cute with two wooden twin beds and was large and airy.

Excellent hotel right on the banks of the river. We had a standard room on the top floor with beautiful views of the river. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very new, very confortable and ours had air conditioning which was a must in the Summer heat! You can also use the hotel internet in the reception for free! Although we were overlooking the garden restaurant (which was nearly always fulll by the way) it was very nice and quiet, just a perfect place to stay! Bargain as well on Expedia compared to other hotels in the area. Only downside is the lack of lift, which might be a problem if you had a wheelchair or pushchair. Quick tip, dont use the mini bar as its massively overpriced, go to the little supermarket 2 mins away. Go up onto the charles bridge and walk under the tower on the side you are already on, its about 50 yards up on the left. Minibar water 60 crowns for 250ml, supermarket 12 crowns for 2 litres!
