Stayed in this hotel for three nights following a walking holiday in Bohemia.
I was concerned that we would get no sleep as, although it is not in the noisiest part of Prague, it was still pretty busy outside. I needn't have worried because once the secondary double glazing was closed we could hardly hear a thing.
Reception were very pleasant and helpful. We asked how to work the air con, and it wasn't working, which was a pity. However the receptionist offered to put a fan in the room for us, which she did. This was better than nothing, just, as it got pretty hot at night and we couldn't open the windows because of a) the noise and b) the mosquitos, a few of which we had to dispatch after leaving the windows open for a bit on our first night.
The other issue with the hotel was the fact there was no shower curtain, which makes showering a bit difficult as the water goes everywhere and the bathroom is designed to have a curtain. When I mentioned at reception that it was missing, the receptionist said none of the rooms had them, which I thought was odd.
There was an electronic safe, included in the price of the room, which is good. There was also a minibar which I kept my own water and orange juice in. There were bathrobes which I didn't use. Towels were thick and good quality, and there are things like shampoo, combs, shoe shine. There was a TV but I never had it on, so don't know what channels it had.
Breakfast is good - bread, cake, hard boiled eggs, cheeses, cold meat, real orange and apple juice (unusual), and you can ask for an omelette, bacon and egg (nice, I had this), scrambled egg from the not-very-cheery lady. Coffee is from a machine and is OK, just.
The hotel is in a great location, and there are plenty of restaurants, small bars etc around, but not noisy or rowdy ones, which I had been a bit concerned about. Walk over the Charles Bridge and just on the right there is a good and cheap Chinese restaurant with an outside courtyard (we had spend over a week eating Czech and wanted a change).
I would certainly visit this hotel again, and Prague as well as I thought it was lovely.

My wife ran the mini-marathon so we wanted somewhere local, not vastly expansive, yet comfortable.
We found this hotel via the 1800hotel website and got a modest rate considering it was in the Lesser Town with a view of Charles Bridge (unfortunately, they're working on the bridge at present so this end of it was covered with scaffolding).
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very pleasant. The room was lovely, although some flaking paint on the ceiling could be repaired. The common areas were very, very clean and nicely decorated.
The hotel has a restaurant but we didn't eat there either for breakfast or dinner.
The sign of a good hotel is whether or not one would go back. If I were in Prague again, I would book this hotel if available.
