We booked this hotel through easyjet hotels. Whilst the hotel itself had good food, (think typically 3-4 *), nice public areas with lots of period details and friendly staff, spotlessly clean everywhere, our room wasn't what we expected as sold to us by easyjet. We specifically booked this hotel to get a triple room. The room should have had three beds and a city view as stated by easyjet. Although well furnished, the room actually was in the attic, had two single beds and a hard couch, (which gave my son back pains) two tiny roof windows, which didn't seal properly letting in lots of noise, and were right beside the hotel neon signs. (room 704) Based on previous experience we trusted easyjet with this. Maybe no big deal to some people, but it was to us. We won't be so trusting next time. This is my first stay in this hotel and I hope last one. We stayed in 3 rooms. One was OK but two of them where a total disappointment.They are very small and old. In two rooms air - conditioning was not working . In one bed we found big black spider. At night very noisy. View from hotel window was horrible. In the bathroom I found lot of hairs from previous guests.There is only one small and slow elevator. It's to slow for 7 floor hotel. When I live room I forgot one thing in the bathroom. After I asked front desk manager, one hotel porter brought it from his staff room?! Why didn't he gave It to me when he found It? This hotel definitely don't deserve 5 stars and price I paid for It.
