Last week I stayed there for 5 days during the week. My room was on the last floor and the view over the city was great! My travel agent recommended me to take renovated room, because the others were not so good. Mine was bright and clean, TV and Internet were also very good, service was fast and attentive. I tried the Bulgarian restaurant and I don't regret. Overall my stay there was great.

We stayed here as part of a tour with Insight and our travel agent had said how lucky we were to be staying in a Kempinski Hotel!!! What a joke!!! This was the worst hotel on our 2 week tour. We also got the unrenovated rooms, and they were disgusting. The bed sheets in all the rooms for our tour group had holes in them, there was no doubles but just 2 singles pushed together, but so that the headboard was not there and pillows continually fell down the back of the bed at night. The air con was useless and there was no safe. The bathroom was very dated and some smelt awful. However, the food was terrific, with dinner and breakfast both great and the staff we encountered also helpful. So obviously if you go on tour here, dont expect the RENOVATED ROOMS!!!
