Best Western Hotel Elefant - Salzburg, Austria 

We have just returned from a very enjoyable 3 night stay in the Hotel Elefant. The location could not have been better and I would return here for this reason. The room we had on the third floor was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate for our needs with cereals, fresh fruit salad, a variety of breads and rolls,hams,cheeses etc bacon and scrambled eggs, self service tea and coffee. This is a small hotel and I would say for its size I was perfectly happy with the breakfast and would not expect them to lay on a lavish breakfast typical of a larger hotel. Taxi from the airport was approx 9 euros. We went on the sound of music tour and the salt mines tour on the same day and enjoyed the day . On each tour we had one hour stops - one for lunch and another for free time and a drink. Africa Africa is on until July and is a really good show for all the family. From the hotel to the Arena it cost us approx 20 euros return. It was very easy to get a taxi after the show as they are waiting outside the Arena.
