We had reserved a room there for both our arrival into and departure from Vienna. Our first impressions of the room were very good - it was clean and fairly modern. However, sleeping there was another story. As our room faced onto the busy street (and the windows are not noise-proof), we were awakened several times during the night by the tram and general honking, and then at around 5am by the garbage truck collecting trash. It was EXTREMELY noisy to say the least.
When we left we had asked that upon our return in two weeks, that they would place us into a courtyard room. The person at the desk dismissedly said "yes" and of course, when we returned we were placed into an equally noisy street-side room.
Basically, if you're somewhat a light sleeper, you might want to consider another hotel, as you probably won't be guaranteed a courtyard-facing room if you request it.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel room was quite small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Our room faced the street and we could hear the trams going past in the morning. The hotel is on a busy street and not in the best area of town, but we had no problems and felt safe walking around. The hotel is conveniently located for public transports (between two U-bahn stops and the tram). All the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was good. This hotel was good value for money if you are travelling on a tight budget. Vienna is a gorgeous place and well worth a visit or two and all the people we met in Austria were friendly and helpful and spoke good English when our German wasn't up to scratch.
