On the upper floor of our restaurant No 3 we serve a full buffet breakfast daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Our Japanese Sushi Bar Daihachi offers Japanese Sushi specialities. Teppanyaki dishes are prepared in front of guests.

Sunday closed.

De France is a gorgeous hotel. Great lobby,friendly and helpful front desk staff as well as good breakfast room staff. Rooms were large, clean and bed was comfortable.
Breakfast had everything from fishes to make to order omlettes, fresh fruit,breads and pastries.
It was 10-15 min walk from all the sites ie Hofburg Palace, museums, parks etc. Tram was on corner. Many cafes in area
would definately go to this hotel again

Wir waren vom 25.08. bis 27.08.2007 im Hotel de France.
Wir hatten über airtours eine Suite gebucht und wohnten
in der "Bruckner Suite", laut Hotel die schönste Suite des
Hauses.
OK, sie ist wirklich nett, 2004 erbaut und sicherlich bemüht
einen 5 Sterne Standard abzubilden. Also die Suite.
Anders beim Personal und bei den restlichen Einrichtungen.
Der Frühstücksbereich hat aus unserer Sicht den Charme
einer Bahnhofsabfertigungsstelle und der Rest des Hotels
ist wirklich sehr in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Personal ist teilweise freundlich und bemüht, aber halt nur
teilweise. Auch hier liegen zu einem echten 5 Sterne Hotel
wahre Welten !!! ( Laut airtours 4, 5 Sterne )
Schön ist dieses Hotel vor allem für Reisegruppen aus
Italien und Japan die gleich "Busweise" über dieses Hotel
hergefallen sind.
Unser Fazit:
Sicherlich gibt es in Wien bessere Häuser wie das
Grand Hotel = Daumen nach OBEN !!! Oder das neugestaltete
"Sacher". Sind zwar alle teurer; aber wenn schon denn schon !!!
Nochmal ins de France? NEIN
