Little Arches Hotel - Bridgetown, Barbados 

Third time at Little Arches in the last four years. What can I say we keep going back. Why? We walk in the door and it's hugs and handshakes all round - everybody says "Welcome back Geoff and Jean" and it's essentially the same great staff that enchanted us on our first trip, so we know all their names and know they will look after us magnificently again, you just can't buy that! Last year we didn't even stay there because it was closed for improvements but we popped in for an hour on our way back to the airport with our kids and still got the welcome and free drinks. You can judge a hotel simply by its fixtures and fittings and if you do Little Arches wouldn't beat Sandy Lane in that contest - don't get me wrong it doesn't lack for anything and it's improving every year. But judge the whole holiday experience and this takes some beating if you want to go to Barbados and relax. Only thing I would say - Moo, you need to put those beans back in the Old English breakfast ;-)

On arriving at Little Arches and being shown to my room, my first impression was that the website does not do the place justice as the rooms are amazing as is the whole buliding itself but I believe this is going to be updated. I had my wedding here on the 31st of May and Emma was absolutley fantastic in arranging everything for 40 guests, the largest number they have and I can't say enough how brilliant Emma was. My wedding day was perfect and not even the complaining of other guests about music being played in the restaurant which was hired out by us, could spoil an amazing evening and all 40 guest throughly enjoyed themselves. As well as Emma and Sandra, all other staff were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning to Little Arches to meet everyone again and rememebr our very special day
