Tryp Jerez - Jerez de la Frontera, Spain 

The Tryp Jerez Hotel has one of the most convenient locations in the city, because it is in the center of town and you can walk to almost everyplace of interest downtown. The hotel is located in an older building, but everything in the hotel is modern. I asked for an interior room to avoid the street noise, and I got a very quiet room. Hotels like to give foreigners the good rooms which are on the front of the hotel, but from my experience these have more street noise and I like to sleep in a quiet room, so I always ask for an interior room, when in the center of town. The reception desk people were very helpful and friendly and tried to please. There was adequate underground parking available for 12 euros a night. The breakfast buffet was quite mediocre. They did not have the variety of food we usually see in the best hotels. My wife likes machine made decaf coffee and this was a problem because they did not have it. They had an expresso machine that was difficult to use and a bit dangerous because it had high pressure steam that went everywhere. We complained to the management that if a client was harmed by the machine, the bad publicity would be very bad to the hotel.

Las habitaciones estaban limpias, eran espaciosas y descansamos muy bien...el desayuno era muy completo y variado. La entrada "hall" es bastante fría e impersonal y el bar se cierra a las 23h...o sea que a dormir ! no estaría mal que ampliaran alguna oferta de ocio como por ejemplo una piscina o ampliar los PC para poder conectarte a internet (había sólo 1 y la gente debía esperar para poderse conectar ). El personal de recepción era muy agradable y servicial, pero los camareros un poco rancios...
