What a fantastic hotel. Immediately we arrived at the check in desk we were greeted by Petra who arranged for a courtesy drink while we completed the check in forms. Petra then advised us of the various tours and shows that were available which was very informative and by no means "pushy or hard sell". The rooms are fantastic. We were fortunate enough to have room 205 which was huge, beautifully furnished, very clean with dual aspect windows (Great view down the old cobbled street). We had breakfast in the hotel which was included in our room rate. The food was excellent with a choice of cereals, yoghurts, croissants,cold meats, bacon, scrambled eggs etc. The staff are excellent and very attentive. The location of the hotel could not be better. Just a 100yard walk and you are in the Old Square with the infamous Astronomical Clock, A 5 minute walk through the cobbled streets of the old town and you are on the Charles Bridge. This visit to Prague was to celebrate my wedding anniversary and I wanted it to be special. So often hotels are such a dissapointment when you arrive. The Hotel Savic was a delight in every way and deserves its high ranking on Trip Advisor. Lovely hotel, fantastic location, superb staff and great value for money ( We paid 119 Euros per night - approx ?98.00 - including breakfast). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague.
