This hotel was very expensive and the service was not that great. It wasn't clear how we could check in because of the signage and we ended going on a hunt for the reception. The bar service was REALLY bad, worse than the usual bad Czech service. Nothing was complementary and we had to pay for everything inculding wifi service, which is usually complementary in other hotels to stay in. If you need a place to stay for one or two days, it's not the worst. If you're staying longer than a week, rent an apartment. It's a much better deal. Criss San Francisco, CA

We just returned last Sunday from a five night break at the Angelo and were very impressed indeed. I am surprised to read any negative comments. The room was very clean and well furnished, everything new, the bathroom also. The staff were very helpful and friendly when asked for directions. The restaurant for breakfast was very well equipped. The selection of food had something for everyone. Cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts. Cooked food. Lovely bread with jams etc. Even cakes and doughnuts should you fancy for breakfast! A plentiful supply of everything including fruit juices, tea and coffee. It was a little way out of town but trams and metro station were just around the corner. Next door was a cinema and restaurant complex and a new shopping centre a few minutes walk away. We could find nothing bad to say about the hotel and would certainly visit again.
