My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in May and returned for another night in June. Rooms had recently been renovated and were very clean and more than adequate. Staff were very friendly, especially Christos on the front desk, and advised us on where to eat and helped us with other directions. We also observed the staff extend the same courteous behaviour to other guests. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others who are looking for a conveniently located hotel in Athens.

I am so so glad that I only stayed at Aristoteles Hotel for 1 night. My boyfriend and I booked our last night stay in Athens at Aristoteles Hotel and we were placed in a room in the top floor of the hotel, which is accessible by stairs, after we took the lift.
The room was small, had transparent curtains and we felt as though we were staying in a motel, rather than hotel. Though having said that, the facilities were clean though, as we suspect the room that we had stayed in, was recently converted to a guest room.
The hotel was around 15 minutes' walk to Ommonia station, if you know the short-cut. For the normal route, it would probably take 20-25 minutes.
The area around the hotel was dodgy, and NOT recommended for single girls or all-girls group. When we were finding our way to the hotel early in the morning, we found a prostitute standing by the street. In fact, when we returned to the hotel late at night after dinner, the street was lined with hookers. Even our local friends who had sent us back to the hotel warned us not to stay there the next time.
One thing good about the hotel is its free internet access though. But guess overall, the minuses outweigh this small plus, so I still would not recommend this hotel to others.
