The hotel still retains much of its Georgian architecture and stands in one-and-a-half acres of grounds, overlooking the New Forest Golf Course. Within easy walking distance is the bustling village of Lyndhurst, where the New Forest Museum is situated. The country style decor and attentive but friendly service make the Best Western Forest Lodge a fine example of English hospitality. The hotel entrance has wheelchair access, as do ground floor bedrooms. There are 28 comfortable bedrooms, including single, double and family rooms, all of which have en-suite bath or shower, color television, direct dial telephone as well as tea and coffee facilities.
