"Lovely Hotel"
This is a great hotel with a great location - far enough away from the hustle/bustle of the shopping/touristy areas but close enough to be able to walk and enjoy them ! About 2 blocks from beautiful Lake Zurich - which has lovely parks with trails to wander around the lakeside and where you can catch the ferry to take a trip around the lake. The lovely Altstadt (Old Town) is about 6 blocks walk and the Bahnhoffstrasse is about 3 blocks walk away. The hotel itself is really lovely - smaller than usual Sheratons and very elegant. Very attentive service, food at Le Jardin was really nice, rooms very modern, comfortable and spacious (we had a rollaway for our son and there was still plenty of room!). Weeks before our arrival we requested the hotel organise a birthday cake for our son's 12th birthday and we were impressed that on our first night after dinner in Le Jardin the cake appeared with his name and "Happy 12th Birthday" on it with out us even reminding them - it is little things like that which leave an impression about a place and we certainly left with great memories. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

"High marks and great price!"
I stayed at this hotel because i was using starwood points so i really did not know what to expect nor did i bother to check it out beforehand. i was immediately impressed with the champagne at check-in! i stayed in a corner room towards the back side of the hotel...the room was large and very quiet and loaded with amenities. i am returning to zurich next week and have booked this hotel (this time paying) again. as mentioned in the other review the location is superb and for the price you feel like you are getting a great deal!
