The charming hotel Du Théâtre is located at the gateway of Zurich's Old Town, not far from the railway station and within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, banks, theaters and shops.
The property, which was an important broadway-style theatre during the 50s, still preserves the spirit of this period. 150 photographs representing past theatre productions are showcased in many of the hotel's guestrooms.

As it was my first trip to Zurich I didn't know what to expect. I found everyone very friendly and helpful. I was a little surprised at how expensive things seemed but that was the same in general. I would certainly go again.

to Hotel The connection of the outlet under the bath is bad, drain flows under the washing stand, and it goes out. As for the other, it was a very good hotel.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From Bern/Basel/Zurich airport: follow the indications to Zürich City and to the Milchbuck tunnel. At the traffic light after the tunnel, turn left in direction of Zürich City-Central. At the next traffic light turn right in direction of Central/Rapperswil. Keep in the left lane and drive towards Centralplatz. At the Lindt advertising turn right in direction of Forch/Seilergraben. The hotel lies just around the corner.
From Chur/Luzern: follow the indications to Zürich City and to City/Hauptbahnhof. At the main railway station cross the bridge (Bahnhofbrücke) and keep on driving heading for Centralplatz. Here follow the indications above.
By train
From the main railway station, take bus 31 or tram line 4 or 10 for one stop. You can reach the hotel on foot in five minutes. Walk over the Bahnhofbrücke (Station Bridge).
By airplane
A direct train connects the airport with the railway station in only 15 minutes. Otherwise you may take the hotel bus (between check-in 1 and 3).

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at anytime after 2 p.m. Later arrivals are to be communicated.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than midday.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Local taxes are not included and incur an additional charge of CHF 2,50 per person, per day.
Wi-Fi Internet access and modem access are not included and cost the same as a local call.
Parking is not included and costs CHF 20,00 for 24 hours.
Transfers from/to the airport are not included and cost CHF 19,00 for one person and CHF 25,00 for two persons.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If cancellation is done less than 24 hours prior to
arrival we will charge the client for the first night.
