Fantastic surrondings with cheap restaurants that close at 2 a. m. and near underground. This Hotel hace a fantastic price - quality ratio.

first thing as soon as arrived in the Hotel, the ambiance is not that bas at all but the receptionist is a bit unprofessional. As i get inside the room i noticed that the bedsheet hasn't changed. That's very unhygenic due to that in tôt rashes all over my body :( and my goodness you can see lots of hair under the lavater (lavabo) another bad impression. Lastly, the room is not sound proof, i hear all the noises outside. Over all rate, poor

I wish they would finishe teh restaurant and offer breakfast as well. It is convenient to have a morning coffee without going out of the hotel. The other thing is that the street is very noisy so it was difficult to open the window and have a rest. People were very friendly there.

This hotel really offers you value for money! I had booked a single room, and although small (which should be expected in Paris) it was very clean and nicely decorated. The room did not have toilet and shower, however it was my impression that I was the only one using the public facilities and it was all really clean. I can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much on accommodation in Paris.

Parfait pour un séjour sur Paris à bas prix, si cela ne vous dérange pas d'avoir les WC et douches sur le palier. L'emplacement n'est pas top neanmoins, je ne le recommanderais pas aux femmes seules.

The hotel is at the corner of Ave de Clichy and Rue Emile Level, very close to two subway stations (Brochant -line 13 Mairie de Clichy, NOT Saint Denis!- and Pte de Clichy -line 13-) and the RER (Pte de Clichy -RER C-). Fresh painted, unassuming white building with a narrow entrance that is easy to miss. The cafe was under renovation at the time of my stay, so can't say much about it. Surroundings are fairly safe and neat. There are plenty of shops around (most everything closed on Sundays, beware!). My room was quite small but impressively clean. I even had an LCD screen & satellite programming. No direct dial phone connection from the room but there are several public phones nearby. As for quietness it was okay once the window was shut. The restroom (single rooms do not have one!) was 3ft by 3ft which makes it impossible to squeeze in if you're anything near 6ft. Staircase was smaller than the restroom and there was no elevator. Try to bring along a small suitcase as it'd be impossible to haul a big one to the next floor. Last but not least, employees were helpful and kind. Multilingual fellows. I recommend this hotel to a budget traveler who would not spend much time in the room except sleeping.

This is a great hotel for those on a budget. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The single rooms do not have adjoined shower/WC facilities, though they do have sinks. However, there is a toilet and shower on each floor. I only found I had to wait once to use the WC, not at all for the shower. Though the single rooms are small, they are clean, comfortable, and well decorated. They each have a small LCD TV, and the hotel has free WiFi. The area the hotel is in is pleasant, though approximately half an hour via Metro to central Paris, but still felt quite safe to walk through after dark, with quite a few little shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

I think it better to provide some devices like hiredryer for guests sharing bathroom.

All I needed was a single room to rest my head and keep my belongings secure. Tingis was just right for that. Ask for a bigger towel and you will get it. Friendly staff.

I stayed two nights at the Tingis and was in a single room on the first floor. My room was small but very clean, bright and nicely decorated. The downsides were that for single rooms the shower/toilet are not en-suite (and that wasn't very clear from the website), the potential noise from other rooms and the busy street, and the fact that although the rooms are non -smoking this is not enforced by the staff. Therefore my room had a strong cigarette smell. However, the two receptionists are first-class! They are extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, ready to help, and they really made my stay special.

Nice little hotel in Paris close to the Metro which is very nice. Since I didn't have a toilet in my room I had to use the ones provided in the hallways. The shower is fine but the toilet is really really tiny. You can't be to tall cause then you just can't squeeze in there. But all in all a nice place.

The hotel is only about 5 min from metro station(Brochant, or Porte de Clichy). Clichy and Montmatre are within walking distance. The area itself is ok and quiet. However, the noise isolation of the rooms is very poor (thin wall, thin door) and I was disturbed by late-night talks of the couple next door, and the opening and closing of doors. The free wireless internet service is a plus.
