The Residence Prince Regent is an excellent alternative to hotels in Paris at relatively affordable prices compared to hotels of similar standing. Private apartments are nicely designed, for those who like modern/contemporary designs, very quiet, in an unique location minutes walk from the Luxembourg gardens and in the heart of the quartier latin.

The only problem we had was that when we got to the room glasses where cracked and there were no pans to cook, this was put right straight away, and did not in any way spoil our stay.

Kenud welcomed me, my wife & son at the desk and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about everything Paris. We needed help managing our schedule and his advice saved us loads of time and energy. He helped us with restaurants and museums. He booked us a taxi for our departure and when he spoke with the driver he slipped us a note under our door to let us know we should leave just a little earlier. He was fantastic. Aside from Kenud, our room was perfect - #13 on the 2nd floor. The kitchenette/living room overlooked the courtyard and the bedroom had two french doors that opened to a small private terrace - lovely! The place was appointed so nicely with modern touches (loved the vessel sink) and the shower was wonderful. Wireless internet worked great. The location is charming as well, just a couple blocks from Jardin du Luxembourg and Notre Dame. Cannot wait to go back for a month!

Aside from being locked out of the building when we were trying to check in at 1 pm, everything else was terrific. We have three small children and the room had space for everyone to move around without being on top of each other. The rooms were very clean and well decorated.

I booked 1 apartment with 2 rooms for 2 people and when I arrived, they told me that 2 rooms means 1 bedroom and a sofabed in the sitting room. This was problematic as we travelled with elderlies.

My stay at the Hotel Residence le Prince Regent was excellent. My apartment was totally modern and updated. I felt so comfortable as a woman traveling alone. I had everything I needed like: internet for my computer; dvd player; and even a washing machine in the kitchenette. The location is fabulous!!! It's right around the block from the Luxembourg Gardens and close to tons of restaurants and shopping. The staff were amazing and attentive. They took such good care of me. They just went out of their way to make sure that I had everything that I needed. They provided excellent customer service. I enjoyed my stay so much that I went home and redecorated one of my rooms to look like and remind me of my apartment in Paris:) It's a good value for the money and I will definitely return.

From Gare de Lyon railway station: take RER A, RER D (local train service), line 1 or line 14 until Châtelet Les Halles. Then take, line 4, direction Porte d'Orléans, and get off at Odéon station.

From Gare du Nord railway station: take RER B (local train service), direction Robinson-St Rémy lès-Chevreuse, and get off at Luxembourg.

From Gare de l'Est railway station : take line 4, direction Porte d'Orléans, and get off at Odéon station.

From Gare d'Austerlitz railway station : take line 10 and get off at Odéon station.

From Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle International Airport : take RER B (local train service), direction Robinson-St Rémy lès-Chevreuse, and get off at Luxembourg.

From Paris Orly International Airport : take the Orlyval shuttle until Antony station. Then, take RER B (local train service), direction Aéroport Charles de Gaulle, and get off at Luxembourg station.

TRANSPORT SERVICES
